About Chesapeake Laser and Skin Care
Chesapeake Laser and Skin Care Center was voted the Best Medi Spa and Best Chemical Peel from What's Up Eastern Shore in 2010. Our professionally trained staff have many years of experience in the laser field and can answer all of your questions and concerns. At Chesapeake Laser and Skin Care Center, your consultation and treatment are performed by a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician's Assistant under the direction of a Plastic Surgeon.

Seasons of Skin Care
Spring
· Cleanse, tone, exfoliate no more than 2 times per week, and protect the skin with an SPF of 30 or higher.
· Make sure to finish up any ablative laser treatments (i.e. IPL or Laser Hair Reduction) and do not have any chemical peels during this time.
· The N-Lite Laser and Cold Laser Facials are a great pick-me-up.
· Now is a good time for a touch up treatment for Dermal Fillers.
· Eat fresh seasonal veggies and berries.
Summer
· Cleanse, tone, exfoliate no more than 1 time per week, use serums to give your skin much needed nutrients, and protect the skin with an SPF of 30 or higher.
· Do not have any chemical peels during this time.
· The N-Lite Laser and Cold Laser Facials are a great pick-me-up.
· Eat fresh fruits and veggies (the darker they are in color, the more nutrients they have).
· Avoid Laser Hair Reduction Treatments. Heat and stress trigger hair growth.
· Never wear anything metal in the sun (i.e. jewelry or aviator sunglasses). It will reflect the light to your skin causing more sundamage.
Fall
· Cleanse, tone, exfoliate 2-3 times per week, use serums to give your skin much needed nutrients, and protect the skin with an SPF of 30 or higher.
· This is a good time for a chemical peel, IPL or Laser Hair Reduction treatments, Botox or Dermal Filler.
· The N-Lite Laser and Cold Laser Facials are a great pick-me-up.
· Eat soups, apples and nuts.
Winter
· Cleanse, tone, exfoliate 1 time per week, use serums to give your skin much needed nutrients, and protect the skin with an SPF of 30 or higher.
· This is a good time for a chemical peel, IPL or Laser Hair Reduction treatments, Botox or Dermal Filler, Cosmetic Surgery or any “removal” (i.e. moles, skin cancer…).
· The N-Lite Laser and Cold Laser Facials are a great pick-me-up.
· Eat soups, any root veggies, get lots of sleep and drink plenty of water.
