Collagen Remodeling
Collagen Building
The Aramis™ is the latest technology in non-ablative (woundless) collagen building. Infrared light is used to gently and painlessly heat the upper and mid portions of the dermis where collagen is located. This localized heating triggers an inflammatory process that tricks the body into producing new collagen. This neo-collagen gradually reduces and softens wrinkles and gives skin a younger and fresher look. Improvement is gradual and becomes noticeable after two to three months, although collagen production will continue to occur for up to 12 months.
The treatment is painless, and normal activities can be resumed
immediately. Treatments are provided in a series of sessions, usually
at four-week intervals. To maintain this long-lasting improvement,
follow-up care may include
bi-annual maintenance sessions.
A real solution for skin aging
How does it work?
• Increases the intradermal temperature to 122 degrees F
• Stimulates fibroblasts
* Produces neocollagen
• Thickens and restores the dermis.
Results:
• Significant thickening of the dermis by 11.4%
• Decrease of anisotropy rate by 47%
The ideal wavelength: 1.54 µm
The 1.54 µm wavelength is patented and was specifically developed for remodeling.
• 1.54 µm is in the infrared part of the spectrum and ideally absorbed by water
• There is no absorption by melanin
• All phototypes can be treated
• Treatments can be done all year round
• No side effects
A laser shot in pulses:
• Used to confine the heat within the dermis and to deliver a perfectly controlled amount of energy.
• The beam penetration depth is focused to between 200 and 500 microns where it is most effective.
A constant autoregulated contact cooling system:
Why choose a constant cooling contact handpiece at 41°F?
• To protect the epidermis
• To desensitize the treatment area
• To transfer the thermal effect to the target: the dermis
The ARAMIS™ remodeling technique is based on reproducible natural cutaneous reactions to a certain type of stimulation, involves no downtime and no risks for the patient.
